Bluetooth not working, hardware seems fine Intel AX200

Post by 03fastmach1 »

I am not entirely sure what update did it, but I believe that an update knocked out my Bluetooth adapter. I discovered this when I turned on my Bluetooth headset and it never paired/connected (which it had done successfully for several months). This is the Intel AX200 wifi/Bluetooth adapter that is integrated into my motherboard.

The Bluetooth manager never opens. Bluetooth service seems fine.

Honestly not sure where to go to next. I haven't been using Linux Mint as a desktop for very long.

Rolled kernel back from 5.15.0-53 to 5.15.0-52 and everything is back to normal.

Maybe the bluetuith app will work better on the newer kernel:

I stopped using Blueman & Bluetooth-Manager & now use only bluetuith.
