Bluetooth fails after suspend/resume

Post by The_JinJ »

After a suspend and resume, bluetooth stops working. Unable to restart service and a reboot is required.
I noticed from another post....
There is a known bug in Mint 21 that causes Bluetooth to turn off after the computer goes to sleep. The workaround is to turn off the "Suspend when inactive for" setting in the Bluetooth settings.
....but not sure where to find this either in /etc/bluetooth or blueman settings

Any ideas? Cheers! :D

Install a later kernel ,reboot and test if it works. Good luck.

Code: Select all

  sudo apt-get install linux-oem-22.04b

Maybe the bluetuith app will work better.
viewtopic.php?p=2241180#p2241180

Or, turn power management off:
sudo sed -i 's/3/2/' /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/*
Good luck.

Re: Bluetooth fails after suspend/resume

For Mint 21 to list services prior to suspend

Code: Select all

. service --status-all |grep -i blue
Then run same command after suspend. The BT service should be absent this time.
Start it with

Code: Select all

 sudo systemctl restart service
where service is the BT service.

Good luck.

Only other thing is the blueman applet has gone from the tray - blueman-adapters doesn't list any adapters. Could that have anything to do with it although Bluetooth is running ok apparently. Sorry complete newb :?
