[SOLVED] K810 bluetooth keyboard don't keep associated with Dualboot

Post by IsadorAkios »

Hi,

I hope it is the good section..
I have the K810 Logitech Keyboard bluetooth.

I have Windows 11 and Linux Mint 21 in DualBoot.

On Windows of course, I can connect it easily.
On Linux Mint, I need to use bluetoothctl commands, but it works perfectly :)
(I made the pairing, trusting, connection).

But at each reboot (Windows/Linux), I need to reassociate manually the Keyboard... keeping press the F1, re-pairing, etc.
I tried to change my bluetooth MAC Address on Linux (I said to me "Maybe it's because the same bluetooth address is registered").

But it doesn't works.

If anyone had this issue, but it's a little specific maybe..
Thank you :)

Answering to myself, I found a Magic tutorial to keep my keyboard paired/registered on both OS , don't matter the OS, all is kept after any reboots 8)

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Blueto ... ot_pairing

Explaining that Linux and Windows needs to have an specific ID to be the same.
I just manually changed in "/var/lib/bluetooth/BT_mac_address/DEVICE_mac_address/info"

So solved, if it can helps someone
