So I don't remember when my wifi last worked properly. In the last six months I have switched to a newer kernel version and since then, it seems, my wifi-experience has become very cumbersome.
After a reboot or suspend, 75% of the time the wifi will try to connect to my home wifi network multiple times and fail over and over again. When I delete the wifi profile and connect anew, it works 90% of the time.
I am using Intel Wireless 7265 hardware with the iwlwifi driver. Please, someone point me to a kernel which will relieve me of my wifi troubles.
Current system:
Kernel: 5.15.0-58-generic x86_64 bits
Desktop: Cinnamon 5.2.7
Distro: Linux Mint 20.3 Una
base: Ubuntu 20.04 focal
