My wifi doesn't work suddenly

Post by Jacky Shih » Tue Oct 23, 2018 7:36 pm

Hi ,all
My wifi networking doesn't work suddenly.
It can not connect to my wireless AP.
I have restarted network-manager service
and reload iwlwifi module
Command:

Code: Select all

sudo service network-manager restart
sudo modprobe -r iwlwifi
sudo modprobe -a iwlwifi
But it still doesn't work.
What's going on?

This is my network manager log:

Code: Select all

did you update to a new Kernel?

are you using Timeshift to record Daily Backups, or other Manual Backups?
if so, select a point in time when WiFi was working, and tell Timeshift to 'Restore'

Hi,AZgl1500

No, I didn't update to a new kernel.

I don't use Timeshift and other manual backup.

I just suspended my machine and went to bed.
When I wake my machine up, the wifi can not connect to the wireless ap.

Suggest you make it a habit to start using Timeshift.

it can get you out of problems like this.
