Run respectively all of the following commands at the terminal.

Code: Select all

sudo dkms remove backport-iwlwifi/8042 --all
sudo dkms remove RTL8822BU/5.1.7_19806.20161025_BTCOEX20161024-3333-0.1 --all
sudo dkms remove rtlwifi-new/0.6 --all
sudo apt purge rtlwifi-new-extended-dkms
After that reboot your PC.

Then try to reinstall rtlwifi-new-extended-dkms package again with following commands.

Code: Select all

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kelebek333/kablosuz
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt install rtlwifi-new-extended-dkms
After reboot your laptop/PC.

Maybe the driver was in the new kernel all along?

Probably, You are currently using the driver you installed manually (with make, make install) . Installing the drive in this way is not automatically added to the new kernel. In this case, when you install the new version of the kernel, you may experience a driver problem again. When this happens, you install the rtlwifi-new-extended-dkms package as shown above. This package has dksms support, which means that the driver is automatically added when the new version of the kernel is installed.
