Dell 9343 - 18.2 - Wifi Stopped Working

Hey folks,

Last week my wifi dropped dead on me (I think after a linux kernel update).

I can see a Wireless option but I cannot turn it on.

Wifi also does not work when I tried running off a LM 18.2 from a USB stick.

Yet more research seems to point to my issue being related to this open ubuntu bug.

But that doesn't really jive with my laptop working fine until last week.
Also I have secure boot disabled.

I would go back to using the 4.4.0 kernels as the update to 4.11 likely broke the driver

Yeah I gave that a go, the only difference I noticed was that Bluetooth showed up on the rfkill list. WiFi stayed broken though

Well resetting the bios will re-enable UEFI and I won't be able to boot.

Do you think I should try running a 18.2 live USB with UEFI enabled?

My other best worst idea is to re-install whichever version of 17.x works.
