it would seem that you have a hardware block, bios or wifi disabled by button ... check it out

my Toshiba Satelite L50-B-2JF don have any wifi switch.

My bios is very minimal too, there is no option for wifi, in bios have only one potion related to network card and is for lat to disable it and enable it, onboard LAN, and have tested that, when select disable don't have LAN network card.

any advices?

also have win 10 on it before i have install linux yesterday and the wifi worded fine, stop working only on linux.
From yesterday i look for any solution to enable that wifi and solve that problem but anything i try do not work.

Under windows i use FN button and F12 to turn on and off wifi but under linux this is not work at all.

ok i have remove battery and hold power button for 30 sec that helped me some how, i can enable and disable wifi, my wifi dont seee any network yet, but is step forward anyway, now have message in network manager: unavailable - 802.1 x supplicant failed

problem solve it selkf after another system reboot, now my wifi work fine, even my touchpad start working everything is ok.
