As the previous version worked just fine I did not expect to run into troubles. However I found there are no wifi drivers for my computer.
I followed instructions similar to these (https://askubuntu.com/questions/990378/ ... nkpad-e570) and built the driver for rtl8821ce from source. As a part of the process I also had to upgrade kernel to 4.15 with ukuu because process did not work with original (I believe it was 4.10). After that it seemed that it works well. But was it really working well?
Meanwhile I installed docker and played with it a little and noticed that my wifi turns off randomly. It usually helped to turn off and on the wifi or networking via tray icon, or restart service via terminal or combination of both. The intervals with wifi on keep shortening, until - after an hour or two it is unsustainable or not working at all and it needs a reboot. It usually helps, sometimes not.
Wired connection works all the time.
I thought maybe if a driver is wrong, maybe I can buy a wifi dongl to have another option. So I bought Edimax EW-7811Un which worked since I plugged it in the comupter. So now I see I have two wifi cards, but both works the same - I usually see all available ssids around me, I can connect once, then after the connection drops I cannot reconnect without turning the wifi off and on again. Or restarting a networking service.
I checked the Connection Information and it shows two - one called docker0 and another one with my SSID and a note it is a default connection.
So I thought maybe docker caused this so I uninstalled it, but this connection type is still there even after several reboots.
