Slider to connect wifi returning

Post by CJNetrider »

Hi, apologies in advance for any previous cover. I have searched a lot but cannot find a solution to my predicament. Fairly new to the world of Linux so if anyone can help please detail any requests for info so I can respond as best as possible. I've installed Linux Mint on a Leveno T60p and for the life of me can't get any wifi connections. Tried pulling across the wifi slider to "on", but t goes straight back to "off" again.

Terminal commande inxi -Nn says
Network: Card-1: Intel 82573L Gigabit Thernet Controller driver: 1000e
if: ENP2S0 STATE: DOWN MAC: 00:1641:58:04-4C
Card-2 Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection
driver: iw13945
if: wlp3s0 state: down mac: 00:1302:4e:37:51
ThinkPad-T60p ~$

I've fully updated last night to no avail.
Any help greatly appreciated

Arghh, something so simple but totally overlooked being out of sight. Jeremy, you're a legend. All showing/connecting. Thank you!!
