Newbie - wifi connecting issues

Hi

Newbie to Linux....bought a new laptop and installed Mint Cinnamon. I have lost wifi access. Have browsed the forum and tried a few things suggested in other posts But for my configuration, it still isn't working. Please can anyone help? output from wireless script below:

Somehow the Intel firmware is gone
