Thanks! edwin_india that fixed my problem.
The above error was due to because I didn't have kernel-devel-4.16.3-301.fc28.x86_64 installed. (replace version by output of uname -r those who had similar issues.)

I'm not surprised, that's not a Mint kernel. Please note that these forums are for Linux Mint, not Fedora. Thanks!
