Enable wifi hotspot mode in Linux Mint 18.3

Post by Tiago059 » Sun May 20, 2018 1:22 am

Hello, I recently migrated from Windows 10 to Linux Mint 18.3 and I need to somehow share the wifi connection from my pc to my mobile, just like a function that Windows has, a mobile hotspot. Wanna know how I can do this in my Linux Mint? Thank you very much.

I'm going to assume you're on Cinnamon, because you're not telling us. (Hint: next time, tell us.)
Open the Network settings window from the menu or by clicking on the network icon on your panel (the bar at the bottom of the screen). At the bottom, there is a button marked Use as Hotspot...
That's where I'd start.
