Another "Wi-Fi Unavailable" thread

Hello

18.3 (64-bit) on a Dell Latitude E6320.

It's been working fine for a couple of months since install, but yesterday my daughter reported that the Wi-Fi wasn't working. She says it has happened before but a reboot of the laptop has resolved it.

Not this time.

I've run sudo apt-get upgrade which did a lot, but didn't fix the problem.

Seeing some similar thread suggests these outputs might help (inc. attached compressed zip file).

Check in BIOS to see if wireless and wireless switch are enabled

Great minds think alike. I did that earlier, and they are enabled.

I also thought there might be a Fn key combo, but there doesn't seem to be one for the WiFi NIC.

The Fn icon on F2 looks like a padlock with a 9 in it. I tried it anyway, no change to behaviour.
