Yet Another Wifi Connectivity Problem

Post by ThePastyProtestant »

Hello, I recently installed a fresh copy of Linux Mint 18.2 alongside Windows 10, and I am having major issues getting it to detect my usb wifi device. I have tried getting wifi up and running by going to the driver manager, but there is no option for it there. I have even tried manually installing it through the software manager and even the terminal, but I have had no luck. I am at a loss, and help would be greatly appreciated. For whom it concerns, I will post whatever system information needed.

Thanks,
Pasty.

You could try some of the ideas in this article from the Easy Linux Tips Project.

If you entered inxi -Fxz at a terminal prompt, and posted the output here, it could help others facilitate diagnosis.
