Interrupted wifi

I'm running Gloria. Wifi was working fine until yesterday, then I began having lots of dropped connections. I haven't changed any config files. Here's the output of lspci and lsusb:

I'm wondering if this could be an issue with some MintUpdate changes, or if I should look at hardware issues on the router/ISP end. ??? Much thanks for any help. Should I swap network-manager for wicd?

My wife has a 2200BG running in Win XP
There were lots of connection problems until I changed the channel in the Access Point
That can come quickly - perhaps you or your neighbor just got a new microwave oven
Oh -lspci -vvnn (l is a lower case L) in a terminal should show that the 2200BG is using ipw2200 unless you use the Windows driver through ndiswrapper
If not post the section for 2200BG and we'll see what gives
