No Wifi after upgrading to 18.3

Post by mistermyz »

I lost the option for a wireless connection after upgrading to 18.3. I've been looking through all the feedback provided in other posts and still no luck.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hello, mistermyz.

I admit that I am unable to detect any hint in any of the reports, which you have posted, that there is any wifi interface at all.
Which kind of wifi interface should we see?
Is it an external wifi interface connect via USB perhaps?

Best regards,
Kark

It's an older HP box - hp-p7-1154. Dual boot with Windows 10. Wifi works with Windows.
What other info would be helpful?

Thanks, Mark

Greetings!

Is this an HP P7-type laptop, about 2011 vintage? If so, i've worked with that type of laptop a bit and have a few ideas. Please let me know.

Cheers, M4A
