I've tried many solutions on the web/forums. Finally i've lost wireless option in mint. :)

Would you plz help me?

Install UKUU, Ubuntu Kernel Upgrade Utility. With the help of UKUU, install highest numbered kernel 4.18.x version series, reboot and test. Good luck.

If I have helped you solve a problem, please add [SOLVED] to your first post title, it helps other users looking for help.

I've installed UKUU and updated to the latest kernel. After reboot my GT730 has gone crazy, the fan has gone mad. Also there was no change on wireless. No wireless connections at all. During that i have remembered "timeshift" option and restored to the first install time. Surprisigly the GPU driver wet to normal. No overdriven fan speed and the great news: The wireless came back. Also can scan wi-fi networks around :)

Thank you.

It was Tp-Link Wn7200ND. I've accidentally deleted the original firmware on it. And have to flash the firmware for the IC that uses. After all i had driver issue on Windows and found this https://www.mediatek.com/products/broadbandWifi/rt3070. Installed the driver and worked.

Now, my host OS is Windows 7. I am running Linux Mint 19 on Virtualbox. The OS recognizes(i guess) the wireless adapter but there is no function that i can use(scan,etc..)

How did you do this? You may need a chip programmer & software plus the necessary firmware to recover from that.

I've checked the PCB of the device. And there is only one IC(All-In-One) type. So it was impossible for me to change the IC and re-program it externally.

I've searched the web, found some info and apps but now cannot remember the name of them. It was like open-firmware with a lot of unrestricted options. Like freedom for your wi-fi adapter. Also it was running only in Linux. I have done it somehow, I cannot do it again. End of the story :)

BTW my VM Linux still does not recognize the driver :(

Make sure you don't have an Ethernet cable plugged in.
