Acer 5520 Wireless Doesn't Connect

Post by jsimmonstx »

I have an (acient) Acer Aspire 5520G laptop. I just installed Mint 19 (and ran the software updater) , and the built-iin wireless connector doesn't work. I ran rfkill and nothing is blocked. Here are the results (just for the wireless adapter) of running

lshw -C network

It looks to me like all my ducks are in a row, but for some inexplicable reason, it won't connect via wireless.
