Why are you using a 4.8 kernel? They have been unsupported from Ubuntu for about a year

hello JeremyB ,

I loaded the iso file from https://www.linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=254 country France site Crifo.org.

after your response I loaded a new file iso from country Usa Havard school of Engineering and I got the same answer after the installation. Every time i verified the ISo file.

Something strange for me , during the installation process I could connect to my Box in wifi mode until the end of this installation. After the reboot no way to connect in wifi mode.

Install updates after installing as for some reason the wifi module doesn't appear to load. You could try

Code: Select all

sudo modprobe -v ath9k
See if there are any errors
