Wi-Fi driver problem with Linux Mint 19 on Lenovo

Post by ElisaW »

Hey guys,

after installing Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon on my Lenovo ideapad 320 next to the Windows 10 system I am not able to set a Wi-Fi connection.
I tried many things I read on other topics but still couldn't fix it. That's why I want to ask for your help! I never used Linux before.
The driver manager doesn't show any drivers although I downloaded some wireless driver sources, the secure boot is disabled.

This may help:

0: ideapad_wlan: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no

02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Wireless Network Adapter [10ec:c821]
Subsystem: Lenovo RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Wireless Network Adapter [17aa:c024]
Kernel modules: wl

Thank you very much!
