USB Adapter won't work TP LINK 8853

Post by ganesanvswamy »

Dear All,

I have upgraded in my desktop PC from linux mint 18(32 bit) to 19(64bit) Tara last week.

I am using a TP-Link 8853A chipset usb WIFI adaptor. Model TL-WN725N.

USB Wifi adapter was working well with 18 and also in Windows10 but it is not detected in mint 19.
In the networking connections : Wifi options are availabe but the wifi adapter not detected
In Driver Manager a blank screen comes with no proprietary drivers are used

I have tried all the advices available from different forums. Could someone help in installing the driver and make it to work?

I have placed the screenshots below
