Linux Mint 19 problem wi-fi controller Realtek wifi rtl8723de.

I wanted to ask for help at jeremyb31 or another person, in relationship to detect Realtek wifi rtl8723de.

Laptop HP 15-da0016ns Linux Mint 19 Tara kernel 4.15

If you have kernel 4.11and newer do


sudo apt-get install build-essential git dkms
git clone https://github.com/jeremyb31/rtl8723de.git
sudo dkms add ./rtl8723de
sudo dkms install rtl8723de/5.1.1.8_21285.20171026_COEX20170111-1414

Then reboot


To run all this I use a USB - Wireless.

All these commands commands are executed and developed very well, but then when you restart does not detect wifi rtl8723de.

Check mokutil --sb-state
If it says Secure Boot is enabled, it must be disabled in BIOS for the modules to be loaded. Do not remove any keys from BIOS
