Wireless connects, then disconnects on Mint 19

Post by amandel » Sun Dec 23, 2018 5:44 pm

I just installed Mate Mint 19, and a weird behavior set in: the syslog extract I append to this post shows, the system gets an IP correctly, and then decides to reject it.

This computer is a Dell XPS 13, with a Broadcomm chip; the driver comes from firmware-b43-installer. Kernel is 4.15.0-43-generic.

Try

Code: Select all

sudo sed -i 's/3/2/' /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/*
Reboot, if it works, it was an issue with wifi power management

Thanks, Jeremy.

I did it, but things look the same. Syslog contains a new replica of what I posted.

Post by amandel » Fri Jul 12, 2019 11:01 am
