[Solved]Need help to set up media server

Hi, I installed Mint 19.1 mate next to Windows 7 on my HP pc.
Now I'm trying to set up a media server to be able to watch library videos on my Sony BDP S5500 BRplayer, DLNA compatible.
In Windows I use Serviio without problems but in Linux I've not been able to do that, being a newbie and all. I tried different softwares and followed tips and guides to no result. The last I tried, Emby, was succesfully installed, appears as a dashboard on localhost 8096 but the Sony is not listed as a device.
Willing to give any further information but I really need a step by step guide

Thanks deepakdeshp for the swift reply. The first page you linked I already visited, it's only a list of servers and gives no install information about Emby, which is the one I'm trying to make work. The second link is a video instructing about Plex, which I tried before without success.

I've been messing up with the settings a bit and now it works. What did the trick i think was opening port 8096 in the firewall.
