Bluetooth WiFi not working, AWOW StickCherry PC Stick

Post by avlo » Fri Aug 09, 2019 6:51 pm

hello all. i'm unable to activate bluetooth wifi network an AWOW StickCherry PC Stick running LM 19.2 kernel v 4.15.0-55-generic x86_64, cinnamon WM.

i've got all software updates, turned off BIOS SecureBoot, googled for additional suggestions which led me to this forum and specifically this post that appears to be very similar to my problem. however, i'm reluctant to attempt suggested solution since there appear to be some hardware differences between my device and the one in the post. hoping someone might be able to assist.

below are the results of running inxi -Fxz
