WiFi Weirdness (Not Connecting)

Post by KamenRiderNecro » Tue Aug 13, 2019 11:23 pm

I was using my laptop in Japan last month and it was playing nicely with the WiFi out there, but when I booted it up tonight for the first time in about a month, it's not showing any WiFi connections at all. I turned on the WiFi switch on the side of the machine with no result, and I'm puzzled as to why this isn't working all of a sudden? Machine is a Dell Latitude E6410 series running Mint 18.1 or 18.3 (not entirely sure which one or which desktop right this second--could be either MATE or Cinnamon).
"Is that gasoline I smell, Mr. Gideon?"

"Jalapeno, what a headache!"

Hello KamenRiderNecro,

you should check your regional settings from the system (date & time). If you want to know, which desktop you are running, go to the terminal and run for a system overview:

Code: Select all
