no wifi after new install

just installed new linux mint but no wifi can somebody have a look

cd backport-iwlwifi
make defconfig-iwlwifi-public
sed -i 's/CPTCFG_IWLMVM_VENDOR_CMDS=y/# CPTCFG_IWLMVM_VENDOR_CMDS is not set/' .config
sudo make install
Reboot and make sure Secure Boot is disabled
If it still doesn't work post results for

After a kernel update you will need to do

sudo make install
