No wifi on boot, works after login

Post by bomyne » Tue Aug 27, 2019 4:30 am

I have just installed Linux Mint 19.2 on my laptop. I am able to connect to the wifi just fine, and I have checked the box to "allow others to use this connection"... But when the laptop boots (Or after a reboot), there is no wifi connection.. The laptop doesn't connect to the wifi until I physically go to it and log it in.

I want services such as VNC and ssh to be available without having to physically log it in, so how do I get the system to connect to wifi on boot before log in?

Thanks.

Hello bomyne,

have you checked the settings for your wifi in network connections, that it automatically connects to the network when it is available?
