which version of LinuxMint are you using ? which desktop version ?

have you made any changes to what was originally installed ?
- - added any extra programs ?

Hi Coolmans,

I updated my daughter's dual boot laptop last night. Tried to get her to use Mint when not doing her college work but that's a different story.

It hadn't been updated in a long time. Mint Updater updated, then 458MB of updates, then ran again and got a message that essentially stated that it could now update the previous updates (174MB).

Upon clicking install to that one, I received error messages very similar to yours. In the Admin Menu, Software Sources, the Base was set to: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu. I changed the base location, clicked the update button, and it worked after that (MIT offered me 243MB updates instead of 173MB?) Maybe just a fluke for this instance, but something you could try.

That means your system time is way off. Post the output of this:

Code: Select all

timedatectl
Tune up your LM 19.x: ppa:gm10/linuxmint-tools
