RTL 8812au driver missing
In Linux kernel version 5.0.0-25-generic, the RTL 8812au driver was present in that release. Wireless connectivity worked flawlessly. Recently, the Update Manager upgraded the kernel to version 5.0.0-27-generic. Release version 5.0.0-27-generic lacks the RTL 8812au kernel driver. I tried the RTL8xxxau driver found in that release without success. After reverting the kernel to version 5.0.0-25-generic, wireless connectivity was restored after rebooting.

The dkms is broken in rtl8812au-dkms package and it works better if you use a github solution
Re: RTL 8812au driver missing
Actually, it was added via the Synaptic Package Manager.

That explains a lot. Thank you. Can anything be done to fix it manually (besides using the Github version)?
