Wifi randomly dropping to 0%

Post by Leechcraft »

Currently running linux mint 19.1 cinnamon. I've been using linux mint for a while now. I've never had wifi issues on my end. About a month ago our wifi started dying for everyone, so a few weeks ago we got a new motem/router. now the wifi is working fine for everyone except me, where the wifi randomly drops to 0%. It happens anywere from every few minutes to going hours without issue, and it's seemingly random. no one else in my house is having issues. anyone got any idea what's happening? All I have to do to fix it is click the network so it disconnects and reconnects and it fixes.

I also had a dropping-out issue of my wifi.
what helped for me is

Code: Select all

sudo sed -i 's/3/2/' /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/default-wifi-powersave-on.conf
and rebooting

I tried this, it still isn't working.
