Wifi adapter not working [Intel Wireless-AC 9462]

Post by MrFang »

Hello, everyone! I just installed Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon. Everything is OK, but I don't see WiFi in the network settings, as if I didn't have an adapter. I have tried solution from this post,but it didn't work for me.

inxi -Fxxxrz

It's very confusing but it works now. I have windows 10 installed on the same machine. Wi-Fi didn't work on both systems. But, after I update Win, the problem disappeared (on both systems). I think the topic can be marked as "SOLVED", but I be very happy if someone can explain me what happened.

Code: Select all

rfkill list && mokutil --sb-state
output

Code: Select all

0: hci0: Bluetooth
	Soft blocked: no
	Hard blocked: no
1: phy0: Wireless LAN
	Soft blocked: no
	Hard blocked: no
SecureBoot disabled

Maybe you have a defective wifi adapter. Just a guess of course.
