Hello,

even though Linux Mint 6 “Felicia” KDE CE RC1 is based on Kubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex, I'd have thought the instructions found here "http://www.pendrivelinux.com/usb-kubunt ... g-windows/" should work but the changes aren't saved. :?
What could be the reason?

Kind regards,

Hello,
I've to correct myself. The reason why it appeared not to work was I forgot to copy the persistent "Casper-rw"-file to the FAT32 partition.
For those having a USB stick with a capacity more than 4 GB, a separate "casper-rw"-partition formated as ext2 also works like a charm.

Kind regards,
