How do I print discontinuous page ranges on KDE, eg in Okular? On non-KDE distros, you can give a range such as "2-5;12;17-19" in order to print eight pages. Surely, there must be a way to do this on KDE?!

When the print dialog comes up, hit the option button on the bottom left.

Uh, yeah, I’m sure that’s well intentioned, and thanks for trying to be helpful, but my point is: there is no such option. Here:

Hi "aelfinn",

Try using "Evince" Document Viewer, LibreOffice Draw, gpdfview (extended options), Gimp, or one of the many other PDF applications.

I did not realize until your post, that the excellent Okular PDF application does not seem to have that particular "print pages" option, but Evince Document Viewer does as do most other applications. KDE like most other operating systems can certainly print in many different ways, including discontinuous page ranges, but certain applications control this function.

Hope this helps ...

Ah, partly my bad. I did try another app, Master PDF Editor, but that uses the same print dialog as Okular—so I assumed that was a system-wide thing. LibreOffice, on the other hand, offers the usual page range option, so all is good. :)

Hi "aelfinn",

I just edited my last reply, so you might want to re-read that. There are other applications listed as well, Evince is a good one to have installed anyway.

Glad you have it working for you ...
