Plasma 5 version with Linux Mint 18.2 KDE
I am curious and haven't seen any announcements related to Linux Mint 18.2 KDE. Which version of Plasma 5 is going to be included in it? Will it be 5.8.6 LTS or 5.9.5? I currently have 5.8.6 installed through the Kubuntu backports and plasma-staging backports and it works quite well.

Likely the same as will then be current in Kubuntu backports.

A the moment kubuntu is sticking with 5.8.x LTS plasma releases for Xenial LTS kubuntu-backports. The LTS nature and extended bugfix release schedule being the main reason.xenopeek wrote:Likely the same as will then be current in Kubuntu backports.
The Qt 5.7 transition required for anything more being another. That is very much more a problem for us as an official 'flavour' than with non-official repositories.
