How do I install Hebrew in LinuxMint 18.2 KDE LIVE

Post by recognition »

Hello everybody,

I ran LinuxMint 18.2 Cinnamon LIVE, and installed Hebrew successfully by these steps:
1. TERMINAL
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
2.
Preference -> Languages -> Installing THREE packs of Hebrew, from a list of a lot of languages.
3.
Preference -> Languages -> Layouts -> Options -> Switching to another language -> Alt+Shift

It worked out fine, and I could switch between English and Hebrew. It was in LinuxMint 18.2 Cinnamon Desktop.

But in LinuxMint 18.2 KDE LIVE, it did NOT work. I did not find any list of languages to install.

How can I install Hebrew in LinuxMint 18.2 KDE live, and switch between Hebrew and English?

I used LinuxMint 18.2 KDE 64bit version, which ran LIVE, without installation to hard disk.

Try this:
System Settings > Regional Settings > Language -- Choose from Available Langages
System Settings > Regional Settings > Formats -- Choose Reigion

System Settings > Input Devices > Keyboard > Layouts (Tab) > Configure Layouts (Check) > Add -- Choose Langage
System Settings > Input Devices > Keyboard > Advanced (Tab) > Switching to another layout (List) -- Select keyboard shortcut from list
