User icon bug LM 18.2 KDE

Post by Olivier »

Hello,
I just installed LM 18.2 Kde on my computer which was using LM 17.1 previously.
I bumped into one issue : when I've selected the user's icons in menu->system config->account by clicking on the user avatar, it chaned in kde (menu, lockscreen, etc) but not in sddm. I figured that sddm is using the picture in ~/.face.icon and these icons where wrong (not the ones I've selected in system config). I tried to delete them and so sddm is using a kind of default icon.
So apparently user icon in kde plasma 5 and sddm is not consistent (which is not great).
How can I tell sddm to use kde plasma icons OR where does kde plasma 5 store the user icons (then I can copy them to .face.icon)

Thanks,

Olivier

Try /usr/share/icons/
