[Solved] 'Default' menu widget stuck plasma desktop

this little widget with a 'hamburger' menu symbol and the word Default beside it seems to be stuck to my desktop.
any way to get shot of it?

Have you tried right clicking on it and hitting Properties to see what it is?

The "hamburger" menu widget (3 horizontal lines) on the bottom far right is, or was, called the "cashew" and is for adding system tray panel widgets and modifying system tray panels options. If you click it and wait a little, you should see the screen like the one below. If you have "locked widgets", then right click your desktop, select "unlock widgets".

Rigth clic on desktop --> configure desktop -->adjustments and uncheck this and apply-->ok

having just reinstalled 18.2 kde, it didn't look like that last tiem, and i managed to get rid of it straight away.

also, this time it didn't seem to be funtioning properly, had not tools in it. anyway, great
