Akonadi not active (LM Kde Sonya)

Post by marsciani » Fri Sep 22, 2017 9:41 am

When I launch Kontact, everything goes (the window opens and Kmail as well) but if I launch Calendar, Diary or Notes or Personal Contacts, I get a message saying "akonadi service is not active - for more infos push the button Details" (something about this, in italian 'cause I'm italian). I push the button but nothing happen. How can I activate Akonadi and make it activate at any boot?

Akonadi is not turned on in Lionix Mint KDE by default anymore. Try this in a terminal:

Code: Select all

akonadictl start
To get info on akonadictl type akonadictl in the terminal.

That's the problem. Try this.
