KDE excludes gparted?

gparted can easily be post-installed, sure.
But why is it not already included like it is with Cinnamon?

There is no reason to exclude such an useful tool, except unexperienced users, who should not be touching it anyway(s), who could do serious damage with it.

But I just wonder, why KDE particularly excludes it by default.

Assuming you mean on the LiveISO? Because while GParted is on the Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon LiveISO, it isn't installed as default for that.

KDE Partition Manager is included on the Linux Mint 18.3 KDE LiveISO.

Both GParted and KDE Partition Manager are front-ends for Parted.

Hello, I just wanted to mention, that I found a "KDE Partition Manager", which I am satisfied with.

Already mentioned?

Still thanks.

That's very good to know. Now I don't feel like I'm missing any functionality when I use KDE partition manager.
Thanks for the tip.
