If you're the devil-may-care type who edits system files without first backing up known good versions, you'll probably have to boot up a livecd session and pull the file from there.
Nope. The obvious file-restore solution for the 'thinkers' among us is to create a new user. With a bit more knowledge you'll know that the files reside in /etc/skel - or you will next time.
Odd that you would say that, tool.
My /etc/skel folder contains no bash.bashrc file.
What's a n00b like me to do now?
I'm too much of a n00b to backup files, so it's safe to assume I don't know how to make new users, either.
And even if i did make a new user, could you explain to a non-thinker n00b like me why that would create a new bash.bashrc in /etc?
