Holy Frickin Bravo

Post by wrender »

I Downloaded Mint KDE 7 Last night and tried it out on my laptop.

I didn't even install the damn thing and it just worked live... better than most default installs of other distros.

So I just wanted to say awesome job!..... definitely recommending it to people.

Cheers,

~Wren

ps. (If only you offered a 64 bit version I would run it on my laptop).

I booted up the live disc and my wifi was working... browsed the internet with movies, flash and mp3s played in the browser. It was running the most up to date kde(for its version). Things seemed stable. It had a good selection of software that one would normally use. Its like some friend setup linux desktop for me.

Not to mention the mint software manager is friendly

Very kool indeed.

Shame I need 64 bit... sigh
