hi there,
trying to install mint 8 kde x86 and having no success.
installer keeps getting stuck at “prepare partitions” page and it will not work in any way.
does anyone know how to get it working?

Tell us more about the PC it's being installed on. Processor? RAM? Hard drive?
When you say it "keeps getting stuck", is the hard drive running at all? Does your PC freeze? (e.g., does the Caps Lock light fail to work?)
