Well, you are entitled to your opinion but you seem to be in the minority. I am a long time user of Kubuntu going back to KDE 3.5.x and was there when KDE 4.0 first came in. I have kept the faith when many were trashing KDE 4 and I now have Helena KDE/Gnome as well Kubuntu KDE/Gnome, so I feel that I'm in a good position to compare them. To reiterate my initial impressions are that Helena is a very solid release and have been extolling its virtues to anybody who will listen.Rob Brill wrote:tomp01 wrote:I notice that he is from Brazil, so maybe what I said translates differently into Portuguese?

Re: Mint KDE - not many posts
Have never really played with a "Gnomish" distro. My experience tends to run XFCE or KDE with some IceWM and Enlightenment thrown in. I downloaded Mint (Main) on Friday and it didn't take me long to decide that I didn't like Gnome very much. Soooooooooooooooooooo, in the process of downloading the KDE version.
