KDE Menu

Post by COKEDUDE »

What menu program did Linux Mint 9 use? I saw that Linux Mint 10 will be using Lancelot and I was curious about Linux Mint 9.

Mint 9 used the standard application launcher.

Lancelot looks a lot better to me..

Not to me, especially with the default desktop theme of Oxygen. What are those little "things" on the right side of the Lock, Leave and Switch User buttons? Even the left side of the buttons looks weird.

Sorry if my comment derails the thread. Wasn't meant to. I was just commenting on a comment.

I hope they tweak these little things, they make a big difference.

But Lancelot is definitely better than the previous KDE menu. I, on the other hand, am switching to the simplest possible menu without the search and everything, I like that the best, if I don't have mintMenu or Cardapio.
