Hi,
I'd like to recreate a feature of Ubuntu where file systems mounted on /media automatically get a /home/Desktop icon.
Would someone please point me in the right direction....?
TIA,

Re: Show volumes on /media on the Desktop
Try this...(think what you want)
1. make sure volumes have right permisions set (right click in thunar open folder as root) in folder properties.
2. right click on folder (Not contents) and copy
3. on desktop right click and select 'URL Link'
4. name whatever want, coment (if want), in URL paste (link made above) and set a icon if want
must configure each link seperate (or a media folder link with sub-folders). Won't auto generate but works
