hi, perhaps this is a newbie-question and it should have been posted there ...
using xfce elyssa, on my desktop 1280x1024. I can't find my taskbar, it's gone and on my desktop the right-mouse-button has the xfce default "menu" function ... how can I unchange this?
/edit: I've tried out some solutions (mainly xubuntu based) ... and now everything is gone, the only way to start something is the not-minimized-systemstart & the ALT + F2 (run program) ... no taskbar, no desktop icons, no wallpaper, no right-mouse-button xfce menu any longer ... everything is visually gone (in thunar my desktop items are still accessible)?
How stable is the 6.0 xfce RC1 or any solution without reinstalling? ;)

Re: Taskbar gone ...
Well how did you do that?
I think you are talking about the xfce4-panel.
Try running it with ALT + F2 xfce4-panel &
Then change the setting in Desktop Preferences to allow it to manage the desktop.
Also Desktop Preferences has the settings for the right mouse button.
