Whisker menu theme changed after update

Post by Earendil »

Hi,

I'm using linux mint xfce 18.3 and after an update, this happened to me. In short, the whisker menu configuration changed as in the post linked, and "the start button changed from the linux mint logo to a white and blue mouse head logo".

I know how to change it back, but my question is if anyone would happen to know which update would trigger this or how would I find out how it happened. It happened a few weeks ago but I didn't have the chance to write about it.

Here is the strange thing: I'm using LM xfce 18.3 both at work and at home, but at my home laptop the change didn't happen.

I'm asking only out of curiosity and in case I learn something out of it.

Thank you

I changed the Whisker Menu icon with the Mint Icon Menu -> Properties -> Whisker Menu -> Icon
I did the same with the Web browser icon and I lost the file manager Thunar and Terminal Icon on the Panel.
I have no idea what had happened yet, I am still confused.
