17.3 XFCE has become slow

Post by CondorCluster »

My laptop running 17.3 XFCE has become slow of late.

I wonder if it is down to the security patches there were dropped recently?

Don't know, but maybe it's a "natural moment" to upgrade to 18.3 Xfce (preferably by means of a clean installation)? If the problem is still present then, we can take it from there.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread, merely suggesting maybe LM XFCE flavours have had a performance hit due to the recent Intel patches.
